Maggie Gill is the current president and CEO of Memorial Health. Gill joined Memorial University Medical Center (MUMC) in 2004 where she served as the vice president of finance and managed care. Maggie was promoted to her current position in the institution in 2011. She studied at Florida State University where she got her Bachelor’s degree with honors. She also attended Saint Leo University in Florida where she earned her MBA with honors. Maggie has also done a course work on strategic thinking and management from Wharton School.
Maggie’s work entails offering leadership for all senior vice presidents and physician leaders at Memorial University Medical Center. She is also involved in government relations, physical relations, memorial health University Physicians (MHUP), internal audit, the heart and vascular institute, orthopedic and neuroscience programs, corporate communications, perioperative services, facilities management, trauma services, and financial assistance.
Maggie Gill worked at Tenet South Florida Health System for five years before she joined MUMC. Maggie served as the Chief Financial Officer and received the award for Tenet Outstanding CFO three times in arrow. Maggie has also previously worked at Coral Gables Hospital, General Hospital in Hialeah, and the North Shore Medical Center in Miami. Her extensive experience and skills have enabled her to make fundamental changes in every place that she has worked. Maggie attributes her success to her hard work and passion for the Healthcare industry. Maggie has been able to execute her job requirements successfully in every position that she held. Maggie is also an ex-officio member of the MUMC board of directors.
