google, wiki complete
MattisManzel:
On google reader - odd-wiki-list you find the inclusion of all feeds for the odd-wiki-list plus the Mµs #OddWikiList plus the net clips about odd-wiki (to do). The page provides the wiki-complete-feed, atom. Feedburner transfers it into the wiki-complete-feed readable in Oddmuse. It is included into the page wiki complete.

the obm-wiki-list and google
Mattis Manzel:
On google reader - obm-wiki-list you find back our external links. The wiki-complete-feed, atom provided by the page is transfered into the wiki-complete-feed by feedburner. It is included into the local page wiki complete.
So far the noodles.

the kabo-wiki-list and google, identi.ca and twitter
MattisManzel:
On google reader - kabo-wiki-list you find back our external links. It provides the wiki-complete-feed, atom which feedburner transfers into the wiki-complete-feed. On wiki complete you find its inclusion.
I made identi.ca - kabo-wiki-list and twitter - kabo-wiki-list.

wiki komplett
Mattis Manzel:

one big wiki complete
Mattis Manzel:
Experimenting with google and advised to check for atom2rss conversion by SamRose I figured out that google feedburner can turn the wiki-complete-feed, atom provided by google reader - whoRthey-wiki into the wiki-complete-feed which includes fine into wiki complete which in turn lead to the aggregation on one big wiki complete. This is a layer above of the one big soup, kinda: The associated sites - currently the Mµs and [net clips]? of each wiki - plus the feeds of the wikis themselves all chronologically lined up on one page. Surely it's a pretty jazzy page, but still. Maybe its only purpose is to make keep in mind that it's all one big soup. Everything is.
2009-06-21

wiki, complete
Mattis Manzel:
The wiki-complete-feed is included into the page wiki, complete.
The wiki-complete-feed, atom has similar contents, does not include into Oddmuse but works with many other services, e.a. friendfeed.com.
By the way: Congratulations for the independence, Greenland. You'll have some nice midsummernight fires, I assume.

Sylt-wiki und google
MattisManzel:

Mattis Manzel:
On google profiles - city-wiki-center you find back our external links. All feeds for the city-wiki-center are included into google reader - city-wiki-center.

google reader - hiv-wiki-de
Mattis Manzel:
Es sieht ganz danach aus, als liesse sich eine grosse Suppe auch vermittels google zubereiten. Mal sehen.

google reader - hiv-wiki-en
Mattis Manzel:
Giving google a try:
It includes Mµs #hiv which are many. Hmm.

google reader - eTerra-wiki-de
Mattis Manzel:
Alle feeds für das eTerra-wiki-de werden eingefügt in google reader - eTerra-wiki-de.

google reader - eTerra-wiki-en
Mattis Manzel:
All feeds for the eTerra-wiki-en are included into google reader - eTerra-wiki-en.

google reader - ‘wiki-net'
Mattis Manzel:
Having been impressed by the google wave presentation I started playing with google. All feeds for the ‘wiki-net', including Mµs #WikiNet and the net clips are included into google reader - 'wiki-net'. The feed http://www.google.com/reader/public/atom/user/04111551298872066459/label/autoshared does not include into oddmuse. I did use the scripts to include into a day-page on Greenland-wiki - talk and whoRthey-wiki - talk.

google reader - Welt-Demokratie-wiki
MattisManzel:
Der Inhalt von google reader - Welt-Demokratie-wiki wird eingefügt in orkut.com - Welt-Demokratie-wiki und unterhalb.

Testing google's script for embedding google reader - whoRthey-wiki.

Kauft Cola, Nestle und British American Tobacco Produkte und macht damit die Welt besser!
Mattis Manzel:
Don't forget, yesterday was Berlin carrotmob No. 1, 16:00, Wiener Strasse 40. I couldn't join as not in Berlin currently.
But I made google reader - carrotmob-wiki which includes into orkut.com - carrotmob-wiki and below:

google reader - Greenland-wiki
Check google reader - Greenland-wiki. It includes the Mµs and net clips. The feed doesn't include into Oddmuse but there is a widget.

experiments with google
MattisManzel:
The google wave presentation did impress me, yes. I'm thus experimenting with google. On orkut.com - Melbourne-wiki you find the inclusion of google reader - Melbourne-wiki. Currently I have to click share for every post. That's not it yet. Hmm.

two twitter accounts per wiki
Mattis Manzel:
The Richmond-wiki (on the page RichmondWiki you find the inclusions) provides two twitter-feeds. One for the recent changes and one with notes about the wiki. This is a good idea. What I might do is forward the feed for the page face into a second twitter account. There should be a short summary (best the page summary itself) as text followed by the link to the respective day-page face. Hmm. Following the twitter account for the face of a wiki is less voluminous, who wants more can follow the regular twitter account twitter - city-wiki-center including our soup. That applies for identi.ca accounts as well.

popurls.com
Mattis Manzel:
Experiments with popurls.com. Another aggregator, popurls.com democracy, allright. Unfortunately only the admin can contribute to popurls.com - world-democracy-wiki's popurls currently and therefore it is rather worthless. But maybe popurls.com changes something, let's see. That would be nice as popurls convey fine into facebook - world-democracy-wiki and twitter - world-democracy-wiki.

twibes.com - hive-wiki
Mattis Manzel:
I made the the hive-wiki on twibes.com - hive-wiki join the twibes.com group - wiki.

crowdstatus.com - wiki-net
Mattis Manzel:
Looks nice: crowdstatus.com - wiki-net.

amplify.com - world-democracy-wiki
Mattis Manzel:
To contribute to amplify.com - world-democracy-wiki you need the Firefox amplify plug-in to be installed. On whatever web page interesting for the world-democracy-wiki you switch to amplify mode using the amplify button that comes with the plug-in. Then you highlight the exact part of the text you want to be included into the local wiki page amplify.com world-democracy-wiki and click amplify. See amplify.com?.
“Amplified” text is automatically posted to the wall of facebook - world-democracy-wiki.

experiments on amplify.com
Mattis Manzel:
I'm experimenting on amplify.com - carrotmob-wiki - the local inclusion is on amplify.com carrotmob-wiki.

Mediawikis with rss extension
Mattis Manzel:
I started on a list of Mediawikis having the rss extension installed - Mediawikis with rss extension. Thanks for dropping a link or two. Links to other such lists or a clever query finding many such half duplex wiki-net compatible Mediawikis would also be appreciated.

enlist carrotmobs, please
Mattis Manzel:
If you'd like to enlist a carrotmob (whereever on planet earth) in the events or a global carrot mob web-site in our web-site list don't hesitate to experiment (you can't destroy anything). Leave a link in the talk at least and I'll work it in and show you how to do it. Thx.
Advantages: The event / web-site will appear in the event-feed or the web-site-list-feed. Writing [[yourcarrotmobsite.xxx]] and saving in any wiki in the entire 'wiki-net'will create a link to yourcarrotmobsite.xxx.
2009-04-07

mrtweet.net - carrotmob-wiki
Mattis Manzel:
I made an account mrtweet.net - carrotmob-wiki. Likely it doesn't make much sense currently, trying nevertheless.

A hello to the Melbourne Linux user group
MattisManzel:
A hello from here to the Melbourne Linux user group. Great you run a wiki! I tried the dokuwiki software myself - using dokuwiki I mean, not setting it up. It's very good.
MelbourneLinuxUserGroup or Melbourne-wiki - Melbourne Linux user group links to your home page in the Melbourne-wiki.
The list of other user groups in Melbourne is impressing. http://www.mlug.org.au/doku.php/other_groups
Have a nice day all.

contents from the original Melbourne-wiki recovered, feed inclusion
MattisManzel:
I recovered as much as I could find of the original Melbourne wiki from the internet archive [1] and moved the contents into the new Melbourne-wiki. You find links on the page Melbourne.
I searched for Melbourne rss in the Australian Google and included some random feeds into pages on the web-site list. Almost every feed can be included into the Melbourne-wiki, Oddmuse is good for that. So if you know a Melbourne blog or whatever that should have a home page here drop the url in the talk, please. I will show you how to do it. It's not that difficult.

It's raining wikis for Melbourne
MattisManzel:
Here we go, another wiki for Melbourne: http://www.melpedia.com.au/
It seems part of a wiki hive http://www.wikitoria-network.com/ which I'd say is likely Victoria located.
2009-03-28

The Melbourne-wiki uses local names
MattisManzel:
There has been some development of the wiki-net going on since last autumn - I decided to adapt the Melbourne-wiki to it. We use local names now, a brilliant invention by LionKimbro which I've been silly enough not to understand for several years. You write for example [[Melbourne-wiki - talk]] on any page of any wiki in the entire wiki-net and it links to our talk.
The other way around it's similar. Link to any page of any wiki in the wiki-net by writing [[name of the wiki - name of the page]]
Examples
Additionally naming the wiki-hive is optional.
Where is the original Melbourne-wiki?
MattisManzel:
The original Melbourne-wiki seems to be gone. I googled a bit, where the heck is it? Hmm. I have the feeling the project has been abandoned. In that case I'd love to rename the Melbourne-odd-wiki to Melbourne-wiki and import the data from the original Melbourne-wiki, if I get hold of them somewhere. In case the original Melbourne-wiki comes back live sorry for the over-engagement. Somebody knows more about http://www.melwiki.com/? Thanks.

rework of the political-wiki-center

I'm reworking the political-wiki-center, Mµs, day-page-sets, a distributed talk and such.
Let's see how the political wiki landscape of wikilandia has developed.

worldeka, Virgance
Mattis Manzel:
I made an account on worldeka which looks good btw.
Very interesting is http://virgance.com. Currently the feed doesn't work - see VirganceCom -, else I'd have it already added to the web-site list.

The carrotmob-wiki has been started
Mattis Manzel:
I just read about carrotmob for the first time a few hours ago, I like the idea and started the carrotmob-wiki.
The picture for the header is from here, the logo-pic I stole from twitter user carrotmob. That's fine, I hope. :)

ning: open money
MattisManzel:
I joined http://openmoney.ning.com and made a home page for it in the eTerra-wiki-en - ning - openmoney. Cool! I hope I find the time to get into it and interact as this whole wiki-net craze currently is rather time consuming.

MattisManzel:
On whoisi - eTerra-wiki-en you see the primary and all secondary feeds for the eTerra-wiki-en aggregated.

So, what are the future plans for the eTerra? Where are we headed? What can we do with the eTerra? What tools and resources do we need to get the eTerra off the ground? – SamRose
MattisManzel:
Well, Sam. True. We shall not forget about the central thing over all the joy about SecondLife including VoIP now and the degree of online-communication gaining 1000 x and so on, no, not shall we forget the central thing which is to move the power over almighty money from the hands of a few “J.P. Morgan”-clones to all people. “People have the power” Patti sang when I was 17 and I knew she's simply right back then. I still do. Where people do not you have to hack it, I found out meanwhile. Simply. For example money. People do not have the power over money. We need a nice and elegant little hack here.
So, eTerra,, yes.
I miss sigi, it's his noodles it cooked up in. The basic thing is to understand that what we live in now is a far worse “pilote's game”, a much more out of any reasonable control snowball process than it would be if people would communicate, take over the vessel and steer it commonly. Money is an agreement, we change that agreement by presenting an obviously better as transparent new money. All open source. All controlled by the community.
It remains a pilot's game however. Life is one in a way. Even evolution is. ;)
Sigi made it up in real-life, for many, many years. The amount of all existing new money, let's say eTerra for simplicity reasons, is constantly, permanently and everlasting 1 (in words one).
This is the essential difference already. All know constantly how much money exists. Today nobody knows it. There is inflation. Noone really understands why but all accept it. What do you call a program that has a permanently overflowing cache?
Sigis idea is you exchange today's corrupt money into clean nice eTerras. Say you are early and there is only us two. I exchanged 1000 Euros to eTerras. I do not own the 1000 Euros anymore. I do own 1000 times a graining A of one eTerra (all of all ever existing money, remember). You come in, exchange the equivalent to me. The next graining, B, comes in. Now we own 500 eTerra graining B each. That's the boring version. Me owning 666 eTerras and you 333 is the snowball version sigi operates with. We need an algorithm, the members deciding about the parameters (sliders, hihi) that makes a good middleway between the two extremes.

Ripple
MattisManzel:
Remember Ripple? Unfortunately they deleted their wiki-node. As far as I remember it seemed an exiting software project probably worth a home page in the eTerra-wiki-en.

I am going to bring up eTerra in the upcoming BarCamp:BarCampBankFlashMeeting?7
There may also be some folks present from other AlternativeCurrency projects.

SamRose:
The Eterrabank and CommunityWikiBank ideas were really inspiring.
It would be interesting to think about what do with those energies. I think they progressed very well, but not to the point of actually seeing something funded, for instance.
Personally, I've been interested in thinking about how the eTerra could be an OpenCurrency? for different projects. One idea I have is to make it the currency of a PredictionMarket?, that benefits certain projects. Then to have those projects, and other groups accept eTerra in exchange for goods and services.
MattisManzel:
And now to something completely different:
I just gave someone the link to Automatix. You had the live-cd idea on the Solari-toolkit-wiki. Couldn't one make all participants - like to an eTerra currency system, a transparent currency needs such - connect to such a system? I'm sorry, lost a bit track on the eTerra, but it's about the hack of mankind, actually. Create someting better and getting rid of the sick global monetary system. See it as a program. What would you do? Rewrite it from scratch, yes. Exactly what I would do, see?
Very welcome currency for open project, sure. I have to translate from the stuff on the ETerraDe:StirnSeite, and having sigi around would be mighty cool, but I lost him. Ho sigi, wi· ge·ts?
Hey Mattis, I just realized this reply was here. AutoMatix? is actually quite amazing. Thanks for letting me know about that.

Happy new year everyone.
Nick Szabo has a wide range of essays on various currencies , from pre-historic (“Shelling Out – The Origins of Money”) to computerized (“digital bearer certificate”). Would eTerra be a good place to discuss those essays?
MattisManzel: took a short look at them, interesting. The eTerra-wiki would be a good place for a discussion, I think.
On this wiki I am currently trying out a new css the sheep wrote.
