Maggie Gill is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Memorial Health. Memorial Health is a non-profit hospital that is located in Savannah, Georgia. Opened in 1955, Memorial Health has become the most advanced healthcare facility in the area. Maggie Gill became President and Chief Executive Officer in 2011.
Before working for Memorial Health, Maggie Gill was the Chief Financial Officer of Tenet South Florida Health. While at Tenet South Florida Health, she received the Chief Financial Officer award three times. Ms. Gill received her Bachelor’s degree from Florida State University and her Master’s from Saint Leo University.
Becker’s Hospital Review named Maggie Gill as Nonprofit Hospital and Health System CEOs to know. Ms. Gill, along with her Memorial Health team received seven awards when the Georgia Medical Society has their 16th annual Health Care Heroes Awards ceremony. The awards ceremony honors organizations and individuals that dedicate their careers to provide quality healthcare to the community they serve. The categories Memorial Health were honored with were community outreach, health care innovation, health care education, institutions, and physicians lifetime achievement. These awards proves how beneficial Maggie Gill is to the hospital and to the community.
Maggie Gill is on the board of many organizations including Georgia Hospital Association, Mercer University, Georgia Chamber of Commerce, and Union Mission. Ms. Gill has shown her leadership skills time and time again. The success of the hospital is proof that her tactics are working and her experience is benefitting the organization.
